Kyle Maynard and MICROspikes = INSPIRATION

Getting around and walking on winter ice and snow is challenging enough for anyone. But what if you are a quadruple amputee? It's hard to imagine! Whilst holding that thought for a moment, then think about ascending Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. That thought beggars belief! But for one man it was just another challenge to overcome and that man is Kyle Maynard.

It was 2012, when he became the first quadruple amputee to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro without the aid of prosthetics. 10 years later, we thought it would be inspiring to re-tell Kyle's story and bring it to a wider audience. Not least because he was helped in his task by Kahtoola with whom we have partnered for more than 10 years.

Have a quick look at this video...

Kyle Maynard is now an in demand speaker, author and mixed martial arts athlete. He is also founder of the No Excuses Crossfit gym, a crossfit-intensive facility located in Suwanee, Georgia, USA.
