ICEGRIPPER RUNspikes are a light, low profile, winter traction device, aimed at anyone who prefers an ice grip that can be worn comfortably on sports footwear such as trainers, trail shoes, sneakers and any other type of non boot footwear that you might typically exercise in. The stainless steel spikes are shorter than other products made for hiking and trekking, such as ICEGRIPPER  ACTIVspikes - to allow for quicker movement.

Inadvertently tested these out when on a ski holiday in Italy. We were staying in a chalet on a hill. The path down to the nursery slopes and lifts froze every night and was like a skating rink. It was lethal and so many people slipped and hurt themselves. I had the runspikes with me so I could do some runs – thank god I did! The runs went out of the window because the runspikes were permanently on my boots and I became the local rescue service.
