Ilves Harads ALPI OC Black – Men's Leather Chelsea Winter Ice Grip Boots

Classic Chelsea style with winter traction

Meet the Ilves Harads ALPI OC in Black — a men's leather Chelsea-style winter boot with a classic, familiar look. ICEGRIPPER chose Harads for its clean, lace-free styling, bringing a different option to our men's OC boot collection.

Ilves (pronounced 'eeels) is a Swedish footwear brand shaped by Nordic winter living. Harads combines that practical approach with the convenience of OCSystem retractable ice grips. Deploy the grips when conditions call for extra traction, then fold them away for indoor use or clear ground.

FITTING

Ilves describes Harads as having a normal-width and length fit. The elastic side panel and inside zip help with putting the boots on and taking them off.

SWEDISH HERITAGE & SCANDINAVIAN WINTER DESIGN

Designed in Sweden, with Nordic winters in mind. Ilves brings Swedish winter experience to a men’s boot with a classic Chelsea silhouette. Harads shares its name with a village in the forests of Swedish Lapland, beside the Lule River, just a few miles south of the Arctic Circle, where snowy winters and severe cold shape everyday life. That northern winter focus runs through the Harads boot: 100% wool lining, a water-resistant TEX membrane and retractable OCSystem ice grips, combined with clean leather styling and convenient access through an elastic side panel and inside zip. It brings Scandinavian winter practicality to a familiar style for everyday walking. Ilves boots are manufactured in an EU-based, family-owned factory that has undergone a SMETA audit, and the wool used in their linings is mulesing-free.

CARE, REPROOF & REPAIR

Give the leather regular care, particularly after muddy walks or contact with winter road salt. Remove surface dirt, allow the boots to dry naturally and use suitable footwear care products according to their instructions.

The Grangers Footwear Care Kit is a useful companion for cleaning and maintaining the upper's water repellency. Reproofing supports the outer finish; it does not turn a water-resistant boot into a fully waterproof one.

ICEGRIPPER stocks OCSystem® replacement cleats, activation keys and spare parts. If the grips eventually wear, contact us with your Ilves model and EU size so we can check the correct fitting before you order.
