The lightest vest in the INSTINCT range

At 160g, PX is INSTINCT’s lightest trail vest and the starting point for runners who want to carry only the essentials.

Choose PX for lighter and faster outings; move up to AMBITION 4.1L or one of the larger INSTINCT vests when additional clothing, hydration or safety equipment must be carried.

A stable, highly adjustable fit

PX sits high on the body, keeping hydration and equipment close to your centre of movement.

Two sternum straps move independently along 20cm sliders, providing both vertical and horizontal adjustment. INSTINCT’s double-S elastic side-lacing can be tightened or relaxed while running, helping the one-size vest adapt to different body shapes and changes in clothing layers.

The lightweight honeycomb mesh encourages airflow and moisture dispersal, while the low-contact construction is designed to minimise bounce without tightly compressing the chest.

Front-mounted hydration included

Two high-mounted front pockets keep hydration visible and within natural reach.

Each pocket accommodates a 600ml soft flask, while elastic compression cords with auto-locks help secure the flasks and reduce unwanted movement as their contents are consumed.

ICEGRIPPER supplies the INSTINCT PX with 2 x 600ml soft flasks, providing 1.2L of immediately accessible hydration.

Food and essentials within reach

Two 500ml front pockets provide accessible storage for gels, bars and other nutrition.

A dedicated 100ml shoulder pocket includes an internal retaining loop and integrated safety whistle, providing secure storage for a small item such as keys or emergency identification.

This front-focused arrangement allows frequently used items to be reached without removing the vest or interrupting your run.

Rear storage for clothing and safety equipment

The upper rear pocket provides 500ml of storage and is positioned so a compact rain jacket can be reached without removing the vest. An elastic compression cord with an auto-lock and hook-and-loop closure helps keep the contents controlled.

A separate 300ml lower pocket provides space for a headtorch, gloves, arm warmers or compact safety equipment. Its snap-button closure keeps smaller items contained while running.

Front vertical pole carry

Running poles can be carried vertically at the front on either the right or left side.

PX is also compatible with the INSTINCT Ergo Quiver for runners who prefer a dedicated quick-access pole-carrying system. The Ergo Quiver is available separately and is not included.

Made for lighter winter runs

PX is best suited to winter routes where only a compact selection of additional equipment is required.

Its pockets can accommodate gloves, a headtorch, lightweight waterproof protection and compact running traction alongside hydration and nutrition. The limited 3.1L capacity should always be considered carefully when planning exposed, remote or changeable routes.

Place spikes or micro-crampons inside a separate protective storage bag so their metal points cannot damage the vest, soft flasks or other equipment. Choose a larger-capacity INSTINCT vest when substantial spare clothing, emergency equipment or bulky winter traction must be carried.
