ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Although WB1 uses OCSystem’s flip-over “TIPPER” mechanism, the same as YB1 and YB2, the anchoring points in the sole are different.
Look at the ends of the cleat arms: WB fittings have fixed, inward-facing pivot lugs. YB fittings have block-shaped attachments with rounded anchoring pegs. The comparison graphic above shows this useful identifying detail.
Finding your matching replacement
WB1 was used in earlier Mammal boots. Later versions of some models use YB1 or YB2 fittings.
Our OCSystem Reference Guide lists many footwear brands and models, with links to their replacement parts.
To confirm your match, compare the shape, attachment points and measurements of your existing cleats with the WB1 dimension images in the gallery.
If your boots aren’t listed, or you would like help identifying the fitting, use our web chat or contact ICEGRIPPER.
Your boot brand, model and size, together with a clear photograph of the sole and existing cleats, will help us identify the replacement you need.
KEEP AN OC KEY HANDY
The OCSystem Key makes it easier to flip your ice grips between spikes exposed and folded away—particularly when your boots are muddy or covered in slush.
